Engaging Men in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Sub-Group
This Sub-Group will focus on engaging men across all equality grounds, including gender equality, in order to advance the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) objectives.
The Sub-Group will oversee and support the implementation of the actions and recommendations set out in the report produced by the original Engaging Men in EDI Working Group, including monitoring progress, identifying barriers, and advising on further measures required to strengthen engagement.
The Sub-Group will:
- Promote awareness, understanding and active engagement of men in EDI initiatives
- Identify, share and champion best practices in engaging men across all equality grounds
- Support the development and implementation of sustainable strategies to embed inclusive practice
- Monitor progress against agreed actions and provide updates to the University EDI Group
- Advise and inform the work of the University EDI Group
The Sub-Group will operate under the governance of the University EDI Group and will provide regular updates and recommendations to it, contributing to the long-term development of EDI within the University.
